Is it Enough?

Just look at these feet.

Fresh from the schoolyard playground, they carried a joyful little boy to the clinic for a chance to see the dentist.

Hundreds of feet have done the same this week, but it still isn't enough. If only we had more time.

The stress of our imminent departure clouded my mood today until this tender mercy showed itself.

A sweet, faithful, 13 year old girl, sitting in the dental chair, delivered a message to me. It's going to be ok. These children have been loved and cared for and watched over long before we came into their lives. And they will continue to be. By us, by countless others, and by Jesus.

On my morning runs though the village, I am acutely aware of Gods watchful hand over these people. He may not have granted them material things, but He has made them rich.

He paints the sky each morning.

He gives them families.

He gives them shelter.

He provides water.

He grants them vision and creativity.

He is deep in their beliefs.

And He lights the path for them.

Highlights from the dental clinic today:

"We can do no great things, only small things with great love."

  4. Always. When we give all as you have done, it is always enough through Him. Your reach is far and so beautiful and how blessed I feel to get a glimpse of it here. Love you guys and hope you enjoy the rest of your journey. <3
